November’s Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday

Hello! Queen Teen (aka Tina Teen) is back again with another project as the guest designer for Word Art Wednesday.   Head over to their blog and take a look at all the beautiful entries and inspirational designs. I hope you take some time to meditate on this weeks scripture.

Today’s project is a simple card.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; Psalm 103:17

I believe that we are right here, at this place in time, because of God’s mercy. This scripture is timely. As we approach a holiday whose origins are controversial for many cultures, we are reminded that no matter why the world celebrates a holiday…we can give thanks always because God’s mercy is everlasting.

Comment below: What are you thankful for?

Fall is in the air…

…and it can be in your home too.

Make a scrumptious smelling fragrance for you home. Place all ingredients in a crock pot and fill with water.

apple-peelsApple peels

lemon-rinds  Lemon rinds

cinammon-sticks  Cinnamon sticks cloves     Cloves

Let the crock pot simmer with the lid off. Refill with water to cover the ingredients as needed. The whole house will smell yummy.

I hope you try this. What other variations of crock pot potpourri have you tried?

Guest designer

I was invited by my friend and fellow artist, Karen, to be a guest designer on the Word Art Wednesday blog. I am honored that this project is showcased in my first blog post. Welcome to the Tina Riley IMAGINariums blog.

The idea of the Word Art Wednesday blog is to challenge the participant to make art: cards, mixed media etc. using the the word art of the week. The word art is usually a scripture from the Christian bible. Be sure to click on the link above to read the detailed instructions,  enter the challenge, or become a giveaway sponsor.

For today’s project I made a 6″ x 6″ greeting card.

Psalm26:7 NKJ That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all your wondrous work.

Those who know me well know that I challenge myself to use scraps. So after making all those BCA(Breast Cancer Awareness) projects, mostly everything I had left was pink. I’ll be back with another project later this month.

Let us know in the comments what wondrous work that you are thankful for.

Thanks for visiting.
